This hat is inspired by a phrase that has become a quiet but powerful form of protest in Greenland and Denmark. “Nu det nu” roughly translates to “Now it’s enough” — a concise, unmistakable line in the sand. Nuuk is the capital of Greenland. Combined, they make a statement that Greenlanders are not going to stay silent about a dictator trying to steal their country. On the side it says MAKE AMERICA GO AWAY.

Recently, hats featuring this phrase sold out in Greenland as a response to repeated rhetoric and actions that treated Greenland like a commodity instead of a people, a culture, and a sovereign place. I’m borrowing that idea — with credit and respect — to offer it here in the U.S. in solidarity.

This isn’t about nationalism.
It’s about boundaries.
It’s about dignity.
It’s about saying enough — calmly, clearly, and without shouting.
